Privacy policy

This policy explains what we learn about you when you buy from SKINLUX or write to us, why we need it, and how long we keep it.

Who is responsible for your data

Data is controlled by SKINLUX, registration number 00000000000, Tērbatas iela 00, Riga, LV-1011, Latvia. You can reach us at labdien@skinlux.lv. We answer letters ourselves, usually within one working day.

What we collect

We collect only what is needed to fulfil an order or answer your question.

  • When you order: name, email address, telephone, delivery address or chosen parcel locker, and the contents and total of the order.
  • When you write to us: your email address and whatever you choose to tell us, including about your skin if the question is about care.
  • When you subscribe to the letters: your email address and the date of your consent.
  • When you browse the shop: the technical data your browser sends, and your cookie choice.

We never see or store card details. Those are handled by the payment provider.

Why we use it

  • To fulfil your order. Without an address and contact details a parcel cannot be sent. The basis is our contract with you.
  • To meet legal obligations. Accounting and tax rules set out which documents we must keep, and for how long.
  • To answer your letter. The basis is our legitimate interest in corresponding with people who write to us.
  • To send the letters. Only with your consent, which you can withdraw at any time.
  • To keep the shop working. The cart and signing in need the strictly necessary cookies; everything else is switched on only with your consent.

How long we keep it

  • Order and invoice data: 5 years after the transaction, as accounting rules require.
  • Correspondence with us: 2 years after the last letter.
  • The letters list: until you unsubscribe.
  • Your cookie choice: 180 days. The record of the consent itself: 400 days, because it is the evidence that consent was given.

Who else sees it

We never sell or rent your data. It reaches only those without whom the order would not arrive:

  • The carrier you choose at checkout receives your name, telephone and delivery address or locker.
  • The payment provider handles the payment itself.
  • Our hosting provider stores the shop’s database.
  • Our accountant processes the sales records.

All of these partners are in the European Union or the European Economic Area.

Your rights

You have the right to know what data we hold about you, to receive a copy of it, to ask us to correct or erase it, to restrict or object to the processing, and to withdraw any consent. Write to us and we will act within one month.

If you believe we are handling your data wrongly, you can complain to the Latvian Data State Inspectorate, Elijas iela 17, Riga.

Cookies

Which cookies the shop uses, and how to change your choice, is described separately: in the cookie policy.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version appears on this page. We will announce any significant change in the shop as well.
